Everybody's out to make money in the newly-released first trailer for "American Honey," the 2016 Cannes Jury Prize-winning drama that stars newcomer Sasha Lane, The Girlfriend Experience's Riley Keough, and Shia LaBeouf … and Shia LaBeouf's scruffy-looking rattail.

Written and directed by acclaimed British filmmaker Andrea Arnold (Fish Tank, Red Road), the film revolves around a rowdy group of teen runaways who go door-to-door selling magazine subscriptions as a means of making some quick cash. At the center of the action is "Star," a dreadlock-sporting teen girl (played by first-time actor Sasha Lane) who falls for a bad-boy drifter, named Jake (LaBeouf). Together, they drive across the American Midwest, trying to make money any way they can, while stirring up trouble in the process.

"American Honey," which also won a Special Mention prize at Cannes this year, will be coming to theaters later in the fall.
