Warner Bros has released a new final trailer for the action adventure thriller "The Legend of Tarzan," starring Alexander Skarsgard as Edgar Rice Burroughs' fabled King-of-the-Jungle character and Margot Robbie as his famous sweetheart, Jane Porter.
Also starring Samuel L. Jackson, Djimon Hounsou, and Oscar-winner Christoph Waltz as the evil Captain Leon Rom, the film finds Tarzan (Skarsgard) returning to his jungle homeland after years of living a less-than-savage existence in England. It seems the treacherous Captain Rom (Waltz) has kidnapped Tarzan's now wife, Jane (Robbie), in a misguided attempt to coax the fearless jungle hero into a face-to-face showdown. Bad idea, Cap. Bad idea.
The film is directed by English helmer David Yates, who previously helmed the last four "Harry Potter" films and is currently working on "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them."
"The Legend of Tarzan" is set to open in theaters on July 1st.

It has been years since the man once known as Tarzan (Alexander Skarsgård) left the jungles of Africa behind for a gentrified life as John Clayton III, Lord Greystoke, with his beloved wife, Jane (Margot Robbie) at his side. Now, he has been invited back to the Congo to serve as a trade emissary of Parliament, unaware that he is a pawn in a deadly convergence of greed and revenge, masterminded by the Belgian, Captain Leon Rom (Christoph Waltz). But those behind the murderous plot have no idea what they are about to unleash.
