Hong Kong action maestro Johnnie To brings a certain touch of class to his latest action thriller "Three," which takes place almost entirely inside a hospital.

Starring Zhao Wei (Red Cliff), Louis Koo (Drug War), and Wallace Chung (Monster Hunt), the film revolves around a hard-edged police inspector, a badly injured criminal patient, and a neurosurgeon who finds herself trapped on the floor of her hospital building during a chaotic standoff.

North American Distributor Well Go USA Entertainment is planning to release "Three" in theaters next week on Friday, June 24th. They also released the film's new U.S. trailer, watch it above.

synopsis:
When a police sting goes bad, a master criminal (Wallace Chung, Drug War) makes a desperate choice: he forces the cops to shoot him. Once there, he refuses treatment, instead waiting for his cohorts to break him out.

Caught between an obsessed cop (Louis Koo, Triad Election) and the troubled surgeon assigned to save his life (Zhao Wei, RED CLIFF), the hospital is now a taught-and-tense situation that could turn into a bloody battleground at any moment.
