20th Century Fox is responsible for releasing last year's Oscar-winning film "The Revenant," and this year, the studio has another ace up their sleeve: "Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates," starring Zac Efron and Adam Devine as two boneheaded brothers who get more than they bargained for when they invite two secretly wild and crazy girls (Anna Kendrick, Aubrey Plaza) to their sister's Hawaiian wedding.

The upcoming R-Rated comedy aims for the heartstrings in a new mock preview, which pokes fun at the odd fact that it comes from the same studio that brought you "The Revenant." And while the film isn't at all based on a true story, that doesn't stop the makers of "Mike and Dave" from trying to convince viewers otherwise.

Directed by Jake Szymanski (7 Days in Hell) from a script penned by "Neighbors" and "Neighbors 2" scribes Andrew Jay Cohen and Brendan O'Brien, "Mike and Dave" will be coming to theaters July 8th.

Hard-partying brothers Mike (Adam Devine) and Dave (Zac Efron) place an online ad to find the perfect dates (Anna Kendrick, Aubrey Plaza) for their sister's Hawaiian wedding. Hoping for a wild getaway, the boys instead find themselves outsmarted and out-partied by the uncontrollable duo.
