Check out the new Japanese trailer for "Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV," the feature-length, CG animated sci-fi fantasy actioner that will be made available on Blu-Ray in September to coincide with the release of the latest Final Fantasy video game.

Produced by Japanese game developer Square Enix, and directed by "Final Fantasy" video-game helmer Takeshi Nozue, the straight-to-video film takes place in a futuristic fantasy world where a kingdom protected by a sacred crystal goes up against a ruthless empire of machines in a fierce battle for the throne.

"Game of Thrones" stars Sean Bean and Lena Headey and Emmy-winning "Breaking Bad" star Aaron Paul are leading the English-language voice cast.

"Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV" is currently slated to go on sale September 30th as part of a deluxe combo package with the video game or as a standalone movie.

synopsis:
The magical kingdom of Lucis is home to the world's last remaining Crystal, and the menacing empire of Niflheim is determined to steal it. King Regis (voiced by Sean Bean) of Lucis commands an elite force of soldiers called the Kingsglaive. Wielding their king's magic, they fight to protect Lucis. As the overwhelming military might of the empire bears down, King Regis is faced with an impossible ultimatum -- to marry his son, Prince Noctis (voiced by Aaron Paul) to Princess Lunafreya (voiced by Lena Headey) of Tenebrae, captive of Niflheim, and surrender his lands to Niflheim rule. Although the king concedes, it becomes clear that the empire will stop at nothing to achieve their devious goals, with only the Kingsglaive standing between them and world domination.
