What's in a name? Certainly, a person's name can spark a specific type of reaction. And that reaction could be profoundly negative if a person has the misfortune to share the same name as someone with a horrible history.

In a new documentary for the Showtime network, executive producer Morgan Spurlock (Super Size Me) and documentary filmmaker Matthew Ogens (Confessions of a Superhero) profile several Americans who happen to share the same name as one of the most reviled and appalling figures in history: Hitler.

Among the group is controversial "Nazi dad" Isidore Heath Campbell who made headlines in 2008 when it was discovered that he had named his son, Adolf Hitler. All of his children were subsequently taken away by Child Protective Services.

Currently available on iTunes and other VOD platforms, "Meet the Hitlers" will make its cable television debut on Showtime, beginning Friday, June 10th.

synopsis:
A documentary that examines the relationship between names and identity, by exploring the lives of people who are linked by the name Hitler. This character-driven story offers an intimate portrait of its subjects whose reactions to their name span the spectrum of human experience, from tragedy to comedy, and heartbreak to hope.
