"X-Men: Apocalypse" takes place in 1983. So, it makes sense that the marketing team is playing around with that videotape era for a new promo, which has been designed to look like an old-school enrollment video for Charles Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters.

The clip features a heartfelt testimonial from mutant teen Jubilee (played by newcomer Lana Condor), who offers a brief rundown of the school's activities and programs.

"Wouldn't it be great if you didn't have to worry about hiding your gifts anymore," Jubilee says with a welcoming smile. "It wasn't that long ago when I felt like that too. But then, I became a student at Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters. And everything changed."

Comic book legend Stan Lee even makes a cameo in the commercial video as the closing narrator who says, "operators are standing by." Now, that's totally rad!

"X-Men: Apocalypse" arrives in theaters on May 27th.

Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshipped as a god. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel's X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible. Upon awakening after thousands of years, he is disillusioned with the world as he finds it and recruits a team of powerful mutants, including a disheartened Magneto (Michael Fassbender), to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, over which he will reign. As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) with the help of Professor X (James McAvoy) must lead a team of young X-Men to stop their greatest nemesis and save mankind from complete destruction.
