Re-teaming with her "Clouds of Sils Maria" director Olivier Assayas, Kristen Stewart plays an American in Paris who becomes haunted by the spirit of her dead brother in the newly released international trailer for "Personal Shopper."

This psychological thriller, touching on supernatural themes, sees Stewart as Maureen, a "personal shopper" and menial assistant for a fashion celebrity in Paris. While grieving the tragic death of her twin brother, Maureen begins to experience a series of odd occurrences (leaky faucets, flickering lights, strange text messages, etc.), which she believes are signs that her dead sibling is trying to contact her from the spirit world.

The film just premiered at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival, where it received a widely mixed reception from critics. And despite reports of booing at screenings, some reviewers have come out in strong support of the movie.

"Personal Shopper" doesn't yet have a U.S. distributor, but is expected to be released in Europe in October.

synopsis:
Maureen, mid-20s, has a job she hates: seeing to the wardrobe of a media celebrity. She couldn't find anything better to pay for her stay in Paris. And wait. Wait for a sign from the spirit of her twin brother, who died a few months earlier. Until then, her life will stay on hold.
