Oscar-winner Adrien Brody is a wrongfully imprisoned man in the new trailer for his latest drama "Septembers of Shiraz," which also stars Salma Hayek-Pinault as his loyal wife.

Based on Dalia Sofer's semi-autobiographical best-selling book, the film tells the story of a wealthy Jewish family living in Tehran during the late 1970s, where a husband (Brody) and wife (Hayek-Pinault) come under insufferable pressure from the Revolutionary Guard, shortly after the fall of the Shah. Risking it all, the couple chooses to flee the turmoil of the Iranian Revolution. But in order to find freedom, they must trust no one -- not even their friends and family.

The film, which is directed by Wayne Blair, who previously helmed 2012's Australian musical hit "The Sapphires," is due to be released in New York and Los Angeles on June 24th.
