added: Mon, May 9th '16

Joining forces with cable channel Cinemax, "The Walking Dead" creator Robert Kirkman goes from flesh-craving zombies to soul-sucking demons with his latest horror series "Outcast," which stars Patrick Fugit (Gone Girl, Almost Famous) as a small-town Southern exorcist who drives away demonic spirits with the help of a hard-boiled evangelist preacher (played by English actor Philip Glenister; Life on Mars).

Based on Kirkman's comic book of the same name, the ten-episode supernatural thriller also stars Reg E. Cathey (House of Cards), Lee Tergesen (OZ), Wrenn Schmidt (Boardwalk Empire), and David Denman (13 Hours).

Check out a brand-new trailer for the series, in which the pilot episode, written by Kirkman and directed by genre director Adam Wingard (You're Next, The Guest), is scheduled to premiere on Friday, June 3rd.

The series follows Kyle Barnes, (Patrick Fugit) a young man who has been plagued by possession since he was a child. Now an adult, he embarks on a journey to find answers but what he uncovers could mean the end of life on Earth as we know it.
