Jason Bourne — Featurette: 'Jason Bourne Is Back'

It was inevitable. Especially when every time Matt Damon walked down the street or passed through an airport, someone always stops him and asks, "Are you going to do another one of those "Bourne" movies?" Damon reveals this tidbit in a new featurette for the hotly-anticipated action-spy sequel, in which he's back as Jason Bourne for the first time since 2007's "The Bourne Ultimatum."

Also back? Director Paul Greengrass, who compares returning to the franchise with Damon to something like "a rock band coming back together for a good old tour."

The sequel, written by Greengrass and his longtime editor Christopher Rouse (based on Robert Ludlum's fictional character), starts off by finding Jason Bourne "in a very dark place" and "pounding other human beings into oblivion; just to cope with the thoughts in his head." And because he still seeking "all the answers to that original question of identity," Bourne finds himself getting pulled back into the dark and dangerous world of espionage.

Also starring Alicia Vikander, Vincent Cassel, Ato Essandoh, and Tommy Lee Jones with Julia Stiles reprising her role as former Treadstone agent Nicky Parsons, "Jason Bourne" will be arriving in theaters July 29.
