Get ready to blast off 'cause a brand-new "Ice Age" trailer is here. And it has the adorable acorn-worshiping critter, Scrat, strapping itself into a seat of a UFO. Unfortunately for Manny, Diego, and Sid (once again voiced by Ray Romano, Denis Leary, and John Leguizamo), Scrat's foolish space caper has accidently triggered a giant asteroid to plummet down on a "Collision Course" to Earth. Houston, we have a problem!
Featuring an all-star voice cast that also includes Wanda Sykes (as Granny), Jennifer Lopez (as Shira), Queen Latifah (as Ellie), Seann William Scott (as Crash), Keke Palmer (as Peaches), and Simon Pegg (as Buck) -- with additional voices by Jesse Tyler Ferguson (Modern Family), Max Greenfield (New Girl), Nick Offerman (The Office), Melissa Rauch (The Big Bang Theory), Stephanie Beatriz (Brooklyn Nine-Nine), Adam DeVine (Workaholics) and more! -- "Ice Age: Collision Course" finds our prehistoric heroes on a quest to save the world when the impact of a massive asteroid causes a catastrophic shift in the planet's climate.
Directed by former "Ice Age" animators Michael Thurmeier and Galen T. Chu, the animated sequel will be crashing down in theaters on July 22nd.
synopsis:
Scrat's epic pursuit of the elusive acorn catapults him into the universe where he accidentally sets off a series of cosmic events that transform and threaten the Ice Age World. To save themselves, Sid, Manny, Diego, and the rest of the herd must leave their home and embark on a quest full of comedy and adventure, travelling to exotic new lands and encountering a host of colourful new characters.
