Prepare to take a trip back in time when guys were "nice" and movie trailers were released on videotape. So, dust off that old VCR machine! And go ahead and check out this new '70s-inspired trailer for Ryan Gosling and Russell Crowe's buddy action comedy about a second-rate private eye (Gosling) who joins forces with a thug-for-hire (Crowe) to hunt down a missing girl in 1977, Los Angeles.

Directed by Shane Black ("Iron Man 3" and "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang") from a screenplay he co-wrote with Anthony Bagarozzi, the film co-stars Kim Basinger, Matt Bomer, Angourie Rice, and Margaret Qualley.

synopsis:
"The Nice Guys" takes place in 1970s Los Angeles, when down-on-his-luck private eye Holland March (Ryan Gosling) and hired enforcer Jackson Healy (Russell Crowe) must work together to solve the case of a missing girl and the seemingly unrelated death of a porn star. During their investigation, they uncover a shocking conspiracy that reaches up to the highest circles of power.
