Check out the first trailer for the post-apocalyptic survival thriller "Here Alone," which just nabbed the coveted Audience Award at the 2016 Tribeca Film Festival.
Directed and produced by indie filmmaker/commercial helmer Rod Blackhurst and produced and written by David Ebeltoft, the Kickstarter-supported film, which appears to be borrowing stylistic elements from "The Walking Dead" and "Let the Right One In," tells the story of a post-apocalyptic survivor, named Ann (played by Lucy Walters, from the STARZ series "Power"), who finds herself hiding out in the backwoods of New York after a zombie-like plague has ravaged the world, turning it into a nightmarish hellscape.
Also starring Adam David Thompson (A Walk Among the Tombstones), Gina Piersanti (It Felt Like Love), and Shane West (TV's Salem), "Here Alone" is currently in the process of seeking a distributor, and will likely continue its festival run later this year.

In HERE ALONE, a young woman struggles to survive on her own in the wake of a mysterious epidemic that has decimated society and forced her deep into the unforgiving wilderness, until she encounters two other survivors who make her confront her past while putting all of their lives at risk.
