All right! The doctor is in the house, and he's very … peculiar. Feast your eyes on the very first mind-bending trailer for "Doctor Strange," Marvel's latest superhero movie that stars Benedict Cumberbatch as the titular former neurosurgeon, who proves to be a master of the mystic arts after falling under the tutelage of an ethereal sage, known as The Ancient One (Tilda Swinton).

Directed by "Sinister" and "Deliver Us from Evil" helmer Scott Derrickson, the upcoming film also stars Rachel McAdams, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Mads Mikkelsen, Benedict Wong, and Michael Stuhlbarg.

The movie is based on the Marvel character, Doctor Stephen Strange, created by legendary comic book artist Steve Ditko with help from Stan Lee. The character first appeared in comic book form in 1963 within the pages of Marvel's anthology series "Strange Tales," which would later turn into a "Doctor Strange" solo series. The film is considered to be a long-gestating pet project of Marvel Studios president and producer Kevin Feige, who is a diehard "Doctor Strange" fanboy.

"Doctor Strange" is slated for a November 4th release.

In Doctor Strange, famous neurosurgeon Stephen Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) suffers career-ending injuries in a devastating car crash. Seeking help in the furthest reaches of the world, Strange uncovers the hidden world of magic and alternate dimensions!
