Captain America, the Falcon, and Scarlet Witch make one hell of a team as they show off their fighting skills in this new sneak peek clip from the upcoming Marvel sequel "Captain America: Civil War."
While taking on "several hostiles," Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) and his trusty Avengers teammates, Wanda (Elizabeth Olsen), and Sam (Anthony Mackie), appear nearly unstoppable as they work harmoniously together to stifle an opponent's attack. It's a clear sign that these three will be fighting on the same side when lines are suddenly drawn between Rogers and Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr).
So, what cause the rift between Cap and Iron Man? Well, the bitter dispute is a direct result of the government's new controversial superhero registration act (something to do with accountability), in which Cap sees it as a violation of his civil rights. Plus, the government wants to arrest a now-wanted Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan) for acts of terrorism -- which is a definite no-no in Cap's book.
"Captain America: Civil War" will be arriving in theaters May 6th.
synopsis:
"Captain America: Civil War" picks up where "Avengers: Age of Ultron" left off, as Steve Rogers leads the new team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. After another international incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability and a governing body to determine when to enlist the services of the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers while they try to protect the world from a new and nefarious villain.
