After being cooped up in a tiny shed during her Oscar-winning performance in the acclaimed film "Room," actress Brie Larson is ready to give the world a sneak peek at her new monstrous-sized set of the upcoming epic monster flick "Kong: Skull Island."

The film is the latest reboot of the popular "King Kong" franchise and tells the story of a group of explorers who discover an exotic new island, but end up getting more than they bargained for when they encounter some oversized inhabitants. Tom Hiddleston plays a former British soldier who leads the group of doomed adventurers, which includes photojournalist and peace activist Weaver (Larson) who is about to catch the eye of The Eighth Wonder of the World.

Directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts (The Kings of Summer) and also co-starring Samuel L. Jackson, John Goodman, John C. Reilly, Toby Kebbell, John Ortiz, Thomas Mann, Corey Hawkins, and Jason Mitchell, "Kong Skull Island" is currently scheduled to hit theaters on March 17, 2017.
