In this deeply personal movie from director Rob Reiner (The Princess Bride, Stand by Me), "Jurassic World" actor Nick Robinson plays Charlie Mills, a fictionalized version of Reiner's real-life son, Nick Reiner, in a story inspired by his experiences with drug addiction and in rehab.

From a screenplay that Nick Reiner co-wrote with his friend Matt Elisofon, whom he first met at a Los Angeles drug treatment center, "Being Charlie" follows 18-year-old addict Charlie Mills (Robinson) who is ordered by his famous politician father (Princess Bride's Cary Elwes) to enter a new 30-day drug rehabilitation program, run by a plain-spoken, earnest administrator (Common). Once there, Charlie is given a choice to either figure out the root of his personal issues or face a certain future of pain and misery.

"Being Charlie," which premiered last year at the Toronto International Film Festival, co-stars Morgan Saylor (Showtime's Homeland), Susan Misner (FX's The Americans), and Devon Bostick (CW's 100).

The drama will be released on May 6th. Watch the trailer, above.
