The arrival of a newborn baby can be nerve-wracking for any mother. But it's usually a cause for celebration. Well, that's not exactly the case in the new U.S. trailer for the British psychological suspense thriller "The Ones Below," which dishes up an unnerving depiction of motherhood in a Polanski-like fashion.

Marking the feature directorial debut of screenwriter David Farr, who previously penned Joe Wright's teen-assassin thriller "Hanna" and the upcoming AMC's espionage miniseries "The Night Manager" with Tom Hiddleston, "The Ones Below" stars French actress Clemence Poesy (from the "Harry Potter" films) as a woman living in London, whose relationship with her downstairs neighbors becomes strained when she brings her newborn baby home from the hospital.

Also starring David Morrissey (a.k.a. The Governor from "The Walking Dead"), Laura Birn (A Walk Among the Tombstones) and Stephen Campbell Moore (The History Boys), the film, in which Farr also wrote, will be making its stateside debut next month, hitting theaters and VOD on May 27th.
