Scarlett Johansson will put a spell on you. Check out her trance-inducing speech in a new IMAX trailer for Disney's live-action 3D version of their beloved 1967 animated musical "The Jungle Book," in which she lends her slithery voice to the hypnotic python snake, Kaa.
Johansson, reteaming with her "Iron Man" and "Chef" director (and co-star) Jon Favreau, is one of many notable names who are voicing jungle animals in this stunning hybrid of live-action and photo-real CG animation, which is based on Rudyard Kipling's classic adventure tale about a human boy raised in the wilds of India, who is forced to leave his jungle home when it becomes too dangerous.
Starring 13-year-old newcomer Neel Sethi as the man-cub Mowgli, the film also features the voice talents of Bill Murray as Baloo the bear, Oscar-winner Lupita Nyong'o as Raksha, Mowgli's wolf mother, Ben Kingsley as Bagheera the black panther, and Christopher Walken as King Louie the orangutan. Meanwhile, Idris Elba and Giancarlo Esposito round out the voice cast.
"The Jungle Book" opens April 15 in theaters and IMAX 3D.
