The Mindy Project's Adam Pally and Deadpool's T.J. Miller find themselves heading down to Mexico to find their missing best friend (a naked Thomas Middleditch) in the new red band trailer for the long-delayed Hangover-like comedy "Search Party."

Marking the directorial debut of "Road Trip," "Old School" and "The Hangover Part II" co-writer Scot Armstrong, the film centers on three lifelong friends, Evan (Pally), Jason (Miller), and Nardo (Middleditch). After Jason carelessly screws up Nardo's wedding, Nardo decides to travel to Mexico to win back his vacationing fiancee (played by Raising Hope's Shannon Woodward).

But once he arrives in Mexico, Nardo is quickly carjacked and left naked in the middle of nowhere. Now Nardo must rely on his two absent-minded buddies, Jason and Evan, to save him from harm ... and certain sunburn.

Co-starring Alison Brie, Krysten Ritter, Jason Mantzoukas, and J.B. Smoove, "Search Party" was released in several major international markets last year but will make its long-awaited U.S. debut in theaters and VOD on May 13th.

synopsis:
Wedding bells threaten to break up three best friends' long-running bromance, but they aren’t going down without a fight in Search Party, the directing debut of screenwriter Scot Armstrong (The Hangover Part II, Old School). Convinced that his buddy Nardo (Thomas Middleditch) is making the mistake of a lifetime by marrying Tracy (Shannon Woodward), Jason (T.J. Miller) puts a dramatic end to their wedding. When the furious bride decides to take her Baja honeymoon solo, Nardo follows her south of the border -- where the lovesick groom is carjacked and left stranded, naked and penniless in a remote part of the Mexican desert. With no one else to call for help, Nardo sends out an SOS to Jason and their pal Evan (Adam Pally), an up-and-coming ad exec slated for an all-important business meeting the next morning. As Jason and a reluctant Evan rush to Nardo's rescue, the trio embarks on a series of increasingly outrageous misadventures involving con artists, drug smugglers and even the Federales in this wild and wacky action comedy.
