In the new featurette for the satirical biopic "Elvis & Nixon," Kevin Spacey and Michael Shannon talk about the real-life meeting between President Nixon and Elvis Presley in 1970, which inspired their upcoming movie.

Captured in a now-famous photo, the private meeting all began when "The King" suddenly turned up at the front gates of the White House and asked to meet with the President because he was concerned about the country's division over the Vietnam War. And, oh yeah! Elvis also wanted Nixon to give him an official federal agent badge so he can fight the war on drugs and take down commie hippies with his steel tiger-like claws.

Co-starring Colin Hanks, Johnny Knoxville and Alex Pettyfer as Elvis' friend and one-time manager Jerry Schilling, the film is directed by Liza Johnson, who previously helmed the Kristen Wiig-starring drama "Hateship Loveship."

Acquired by Amazon Studios through a joint deal with Bleecker Street, "Elvis & Nixon" will open in theaters April 15 and will be made available on Amazon's Prime Video at a later date.
