Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice — Deleted Scene: "Communion" (featuring Lex Luthor)

If you were one of the hundreds of moviegoers that saw Zack Snyder's "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" this past weekend only to leave the theater wanting more... well, you're in luck. Released today is a quick deleted scene from the end of the film which features Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) communicating with an alien creature that seems to be telling Luthor some secrets about the three mysterious Mother Boxes needed to summon the all-powerful, evil-being, called "Darkseid."

"Darkseid" is the strongly-rumored supervillain that will be the Super Friends main nemesis in the upcoming "Justice League" films. Darkseid is from a race known as the New Gods and along with super-strength and invulnerability, he can also release "Omega Beams" from his eyes and hands that are powerful enough to erase living objects and organisms from existence.

The theatrical and alternate 30-minute extended R-rated "Ultimate Edition" of "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is already being prepped to hit store shelves on July 16th, just before the theatrical release of David Ayer's "Suicide Squad," in August. Look for more info on the Home Video release to arrive soon, meanwhile "Batman v Superman" is still playing at a theater near you.
