For his latest music documentary "The Music of Strangers," Morgan Neville, the director of the Oscar-winning doc "20 Feet from Stardom," which put a spotlight on the music industry's greatest background singers, is now aiming a light on "The Silk Road Ensemble," the unique musical collective spearheaded by superstar cellist Yo-Yo Ma.

The "Silk Road" project is composed of a rotating roster of talented instrumentalists, vocalists, and composers from all different parts of the world. Essentially strangers, the members have come together to merge several different traditional musical styles and produce an innovative form of world music, expanding the limits of their imagination in the process.
