Okay, Ben Affleck may have the right physique, but no one can beat the deep, gravelly voice of Will Arnett as Batman -- or rather, Lego Batman.

Offering an early peek at next year's The Lego Movie spin-off, feast your eyes on the first teaser trailer for "The Lego Batman Movie," which is centering on the Lego Batman character, voiced -- "and painstakingly beatboxed" -- by Arnett.

Also featuring the voices of Ralph Fiennes as Alfred, Michael Cera as Robin, Rosario Dawson as Batgirl, Mariah Carey as Gotham's Mayor Grange, and Zach Galifianakis as the Joker, the animated comedy is written by author-turned-screenwriter Seth Grahame-Smith (Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, Dark Shadows) and directed by Chris McKay, the Emmy-winning producer-director of the stop-motion comedy series "Robot Chicken."

"The Lego Batman Movie" will be arriving in theaters early next year, on February 10, 2017.

synopsis:
In the irreverent spirit of fun that made "The LEGO Movie" a worldwide phenomenon, the self-described leading man of that ensemble -- LEGO Batman -- stars in his own big-screen adventure. But there are big changes brewing in Gotham, and if he wants to save the city from The Joker's hostile takeover, Batman may have to drop the lone vigilante thing, try to work with others and maybe, just maybe, learn to lighten up.
