It's been more than a decade, but Bridget Jones is finally coming back this year. And whaddya know, she has a bun in the oven!

Check out the very first trailer for "Bridget Jones's Baby," the long-awaited third installment in the romantic-comedy franchise based on Helen Fielding's bestselling books that feature a bumbling British career woman with a messy love life, once again played by Renee Zellweger.

Colin Firth has also returned to reprise his role as charming barrister Mark Darcy. Meanwhile, former "Grey's Anatomy" star Patrick Dempsey joins the franchise as a new love interest and possible baby's daddy.

Directed by "Bridget Jones's Diary" helmer Sharon Maguire, the upcoming threequel, which sees Jones entering her 40s and becoming pregnant for the first time, also stars Jim Broadbent, Gemma Jones, Emma Thompson, Celia Imrie, James Callis and singer Ed Sheeran.

"Bridget Jones's Baby" is scheduled to hit theaters everywhere on September 16th.

synopsis:
After breaking up with Mark Darcy (Colin Firth), Bridget Jones's (Renee Zellweger) "happily ever after" hasn’t quite gone according to plan. Fortysomething and single again, she decides to focus on her job as top news producer and surround herself with old friends and new. For once, Bridget has everything completely under control. What could possibly go wrong?

Then her love life takes a turn and Bridget meets a dashing American named Jack (Patrick Dempsey), the suitor who is everything Mr. Darcy is not. In an unlikely twist she finds herself pregnant, but with one hitch...she can only be fifty percent sure of the identity of her baby’s father.
