A new "Warcraft" TV spot has been released, and it offers some brand-new footage from the live-action/CG hybrid adaptation of Blizzard Entertainment's mega-popular fantasy game franchise.

Centering on a medieval-like war between human knights and orc warriors and half-breeds, the much-awaited film is co-written and directed by acclaimed sci-fi filmmaker Duncan Jones (Moon, Source Code).

Australian actor Travis Fimmel, who's currently starring on History Channel's hit series "Vikings," plays Anduin Lothar, the brave leader of a kingdom of humans who braces for war when a magical portal opens up and transports a new lethal army of invading orcs.

"Warcraft," which also stars Paula Patton, Toby Kebbell, Rob Kazinsky, Dominic Cooper, Ben Schnetzer, and Ben Foster, is scheduled to hit theaters June 10th.

From Legendary Pictures and Universal Pictures comes Warcraft, an epic adventure of world-colliding conflict based on Blizzard Entertainment's global phenomenon.

The peaceful realm of Azeroth stands on the brink of war as its civilization faces a fearsome race of invaders: Orc warriors fleeing their dying home to colonize another. As a portal opens to connect the two worlds, one army faces destruction and the other faces extinction. From opposing sides, two heroes are set on a collision course that will decide the fate of their family, their people and their home.

So begins a spectacular saga of power and sacrifice in which war has many faces, and everyone fights for something.
