Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice — Featurette: 'Bruce Wayne, Clark Kent and Lex Luthor'

added: Wed, Mar 16th '16

It's a bit of the blame game. You got Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) who hates Superman because his super abilities are too powerful to ignore. And then, you got Clark Kent (Henry Cavill) who hates Batman because he only sees him as a dangerous vigilante. They blame each other when they should really blame Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) and his Machiavellian tactics.

As director Zack Snyder says in this new "Batman v Superman" featurette (watch it above), Lex is "kind of a puppetmaster -- kind of controlling these two heroes and forcing them into conflict." Lex may have a brilliant mind, but it seems his soul is filled with malice and spite. Some could say, he has a God complex, while others could chalk it up as the typical characteristics of being a DC comics supervillain.

Get ready for the "Dawn of Justice" when it hits theaters next week, March 25th.

From director Zack Snyder (Man of Steel) comes "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," starring Oscar winner Ben Affleck (Argo) as Batman/Bruce Wayne and Henry Cavill (Man of Steel, The Man from U.N.C.L.E.) as Superman/Clark Kent in the characters' first big-screen pairing.

Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City's own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis's most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it's ever known before.
