20 years ago, eccentric millionaire and mentally troubled benefactor John Du Pont shot Olympic wrestling champion Dave Schultz at his "Foxcatcher" estate and then proceeded to barricade himself inside his Pennsylvania mansion for two days before police were able to take him into custody. The shocking news made national headlines, and it continues to be a source of fascination. But even for those familiar with the story, or for those just familiar with the Oscar-nominated movie "Foxcatcher," which starred Steve Carrell as Du Pont and Mark Ruffalo as Schultz, there's still much to dissect.

In the upcoming Netflix documentary "Team Foxcatcher" (a reference to the name of Du Pont's wrestling sponsorship, in which he built a training facility on his Pennsylvania estate), director Jon Greenhalgh retells the events that led up to the tragic 1996 murder, chronicling the complicated relationship between Du Pont and Schultz.

With the full support of Schultz's widowed wife, Nancy, and featuring rarely-seen home video captured by Nancy, herself, the documentary will be making its world premiere next month at the Tribeca Film Festival, before becoming available on Netflix April 29th.
