Last night, because of daylight savings time, you lost a whole hour. Well, this new 30-second commercial for "Alice Through The Looking Glass" asks, what if that hour was perhaps "stolen!"

In the highly-anticipated "Alice in Wonderland" sequel, "Time" plays an integral part of the story. However, Time is, actually, a person -- or rather, a villainous Timekeeper (played by comedian Sacha Baron Cohen), who is working in cahoots with the wicked Red Queen (Helena Bonham Carter) as they strive to capture Alice (Mia Wasikowska) after learning she has returned to the fantastical world of Wonderland to save her tea-sipping friends.

Tim Burton, who directed the previous installment, is serving as a producer. While "Flight of the Conchords" and "The Muppets" director James Bobin takes over the helm of the upcoming fantasy sequel, which also sees the return of Johnny Depp as Mad Hatter and Anne Hathaway as White Queen. The film will also feature the last performance of the late actor Alan Rickman, who once again provided the voice of Blue Caterpillar.

"Alice Through The Looking Glass" opens everywhere May 27th.

synopsis:
