If we learn anything from "The Brady Bunch goes to Hawaii" special, it's that ancient artifacts are most likely cursed with some bad juju. It's probably best to leave those objects alone. Don't even try to take them home with you.

Well, judging by the new trailer for the supernatural thriller "The Darkness," Kevin Bacon's young son (played by Gotham's David Mazouz) clearly never received that memo, because, while on a family trip to the Grand Canyon, he carelessly snatches up a couple of mysterious black stones from an ancient burial site. And whaddya know, it turns out those stone artifacts are, indeed, cursed with some bad juju. Now the boy, presumably possessed by evil spirits, is scaring the hell out of his family. Well, that's the last time they ever take a trip to the Grand Canyon, you can bet on that!

Co-starring Radha Mitchell and Lucy Fry, "The Darkness" is the latest horror film from "Wolf Creek" director Greg McLean. It's set to hit theaters May 13th.
