Now that the box office smash has hit the two billion mark, it is finally time to announce the home video release of J.J. Abrams' epic first film of the sequel trilogy "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" which will be available for download everywhere on April Fools Day, (Friday, April 1st.) Followed quickly by a Blu-ray Combo Pack hitting store shelves on Tuesday, April 5th, that will include bonus materials that gives fans an exciting behind the scenes look at the making of the record-breaking blockbuster.

Also released is a new Blu-ray trailer which has some added footage from some of the Bonus Features materials available on the Blu-ray Combo Pack, including a deleted scene of Adam Driver as the villainous Kylo Ren entering the Millennium Falcon being accompanied by Imperial snowtroopers.

For more information on the added Blu-Ray materials check out starwars.com which also has additional info on the Limited Edition Retailer Exclusive collectible packages for Wal-Mart, Target, and Best Buy stores.

The official site also promises a 3D version of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" will be available later this year.
