To save her friends, Alice must turn back the hands of time. But "time is a he," and he looks a lot like an evil Sacha Baron Cohen.
Check out the new 60-second commercial for "Alice Through the Looking Glass," in which Aussie actress Mia Wasikowska returns to star as Alice in this Disney sequel to the 2010 blockbuster "Alice in Wonderland."
Johnny Depp (Mad Hatter), Anne Hathaway (the White Queen), and Helena Bonham Carter (the Red Queen) are also back. While this latest entry in the fantasy franchise will feature the final voice performance by the late, great Alan Rickman (as Absolem the Caterpillar) who sadly passed away last month.
Loosely based on Lewis Carroll's classic stories, "Looking Glass" is directed by "The Muppets," "Flight of the Conchords," and "Da Ali G Show" director James Bobin, who takes over directing duties from Tim Burton, who is staying on as an executive producer.
The film opens May 27th.

When Alice wakes up in Wonderland she must travel through a mysterious new world to retrieve a magical scepter that can stop the evil Lord of Time before he turns forward the clock and turns Wonderland into a barren, lifeless old world. With the help of some new friends, Alice must also uncover an evil plot to put the Queen of Hearts back on the throne.
