Keanu Reeves is "a detective searching for answers" in the new international trailer for the mystery crime thriller "Exposed."

The "Matrix" star plays a New York detective named Galban, who's hunting down his partner's killer when he untangles a web of police corruption that somehow involves a mysterious Cuban woman who claims to see angels (she's played by Ana De Armas, Reeves' co-star in the horror thriller "Knock, Knock").

Mira Sorvino, former rap artist Big Daddy Kane, and Christopher McDonald co-star.

"Exposed" is written and directed by "Declan Dale," which is an Alan Smithee-type pseudonym chosen by Brooklyn-born filmmaker Gee Malik Linton, who wanted his name off the credits after the studio, Lionsgate, supposedly re-edited the entire movie. The studio apparently wanted a more a conventional detective thriller, so they added extra scenes to feature Reeves' hard-boiled cop character.

"Exposed" opened in select theaters last month, and is currently available on VOD. The film will be arriving on DVD and Blu-Ray on March 29th.
