Michelle Yeoh proves she can still swing a mighty sword in the new trailer for "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny," the English-language sequel to 2000's Oscar-winning martial arts epic, based on the renowned 1940s Chinese "Crane-Iron" book series by wuxia author Wang Dulu.

The Netflix film, directed by veteran martial arts choreographer/helmer Yuen Wo-Ping (Drunken Master, Iron Monkey), continues to explore the fabled legacy of the Green Destiny, a powerful and elusive sword with a storied history that over centuries have repeatedly attracted admirers -- some less worthy than others.

Yeoh, reprising her role from the original film, plays master swordswoman, Yu Shu Lien, who, after vowing to keep the Green Destiny sword from falling into the wrong hands, finds herself battling a power-hungry warlord (Jason Scott Lee) -- while at the same time is trying to prevent her latest pupil from turning bad.

In addition to Yeoh and Scott Lee, the cast also includes martial arts megastar Donnie Yen, "Glee" actor Harry Shum Jr., Hong Kong actress Juju Chan, newcomer Natasha Liu Bordizzo, and "Revenge of the Green Dragons" actress Shuya Chang as Jen Yu, the character who was originally played by Zhang Ziyi.

Written by John Fusco (creator of the Netflix series "Marco Polo"), "Sword of Destiny" will be premiering next week on February 26th, exclusively on Netflix.
