Diane Kruger (The Bridge, Inglourious Basterds) finds herself starting over and jumping into a relationship with The Walking Dead's Norman Reedus in the international trailer for the Las Vegas-set drama "Sky."
The film is the third collaboration between Kruger and French writer-director Fabienne Berthaud (Lily Sometimes, Frankie), and the director's first English-language feature.
Kruger plays an emotionally wounded French woman who, while on vacation, decides to escape her abusive French husband to start a new life in Las Vegas. Embarking on a journey of self-discovery, she gets into a relationship with a park ranger (Reedus) while trying to ingratiate herself with the locals.
Co-starring Gilles Lellouche, Lena Dunham, Q'orianka Kilcher, Laurene Landonand, Joshua Jackson, and Lou Diamond Phillips, "Sky" is set to open in France next month (3/16) with a U.S. release to follow.
synopsis:
While on vacation in the American West with her husband, Romy decides to end their toxic relationship and to take her life in hand once again. From Las Vegas to the plains of Nevada, the road will be punctuated with improbable and intense encounters, all of them bringing new hope.
