A brand-new trailer has been released for "The Huntsman: Winter's War," the forthcoming prequel to 2012's fairy tale actioner "Snow White and the Huntsman," in which Chris Hemsworth and Charlize Theron have returned to reprise their respective roles as the rogue Huntsman and the evil Queen Ravenna.
This time around, Hemsworth and Theron are joined by Emily Blunt and Jessica Chastain. While visual effects artist Cedric Nicolas-Troyan, who received an Oscar-nomination for his visual FX work on "Snow White and the Huntsman," has taken over the directing duties -- it's his directorial debut.
Blunt is playing Ravenna's younger sister, Freya The Ice Queen. Possessing the power of ice, Freya has raised an army of huntsmen, which includes Hemsworth's Eric and Chastain's Sara, two fearless warriors who have grown up together and have developed feelings for each other. While a revengeful Freya plans to overthrow Ravenna's evil empire, Eric and Sara embark on their own quest to save their enchanted world.
"The Huntsman: Winter's War" is due to open on April 22.
