Experience an action film through the eyes of a hardcore hero.

Here's the new theatrical trailer for "Hardcore Henry," an ultra-violent, darkly comic action thriller that's told from the P.O.V. of a cybernetic super-soldier, named Henry, who sets out on a one-man mission to save his scientist wife (The Equalizer's Haley Bennet) from an evil Russian warlord (Vampire Academy's Danila Kozlovsky).

"District 9" star Sharlto Copley co-stars as Henry's lone ally, a crazed British agent, known only as Jimmy. He supplies Henry with a stockpile of weapons and periodically helps out when Henry fights a nearly endless stream of heavily-armed mercenaries as he races through the streets of Moscow.

Featuring a cameo by Tim Roth, the film is directed and written by Russian musician turned first-time feature filmmaker Ilya Naishuller, who first received attention on the internet for helming the 2013 video game-inspired music video "Bad Motherf--ker," which was also entirely shot from a first-person perspective. It was because of that viral video that Russian director Timur Bekmambetov (Wanted, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter) got involved with the project, and is now serving as a producer on the upcoming film.

"Hardcore Henry" was a breakout hit when it premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival last year. It's now receiving a theatrical release on April 8th.
