You're never entirely free from your demons. Or in this case, a demonic spirit.

Louisa Krause (Martha Marcy May Marlene) plays a young woman who finds herself in danger of being repossessed by her exorcised demon in the new trailer for the offbeat horror flick "Ava's Possessions."

The darkly comic film, written and directed by musician-turned-filmmaker Jordan Galland (Alter Egos), is set in a neon-lit world where demonic possessions and exorcisms are everyday occurrences. After being possessed by a malicious (and slutty) spirit, Ava (Krause), now cleansed and back to her normal self, tries to re-enter her circle of friends and family members. Still haunted by visions of her possession, Ava joins a support group as she tries to shake off that nagging feeling of dread and despair.

Co-starring Jemima Kirke, Carol Kane, William Sadler, Lou Taylor Pucci, Wass Stevens and Dan Fogler, "Ava's Possessions" will be released in theaters and on iTunes/VOD next month, beginning March 4th.

synopsis:
Ava Dobkins is recovering from demonic possession. With no memory of the past month, she is forced to attend a Spirit Possession Anonymous support group. As Ava struggles to reconnect with her friends, get her job back, and figure out where the huge bloodstain in her apartment came from, she's plagued by nightmarish visions -- the demon is trying to come back.
