"Everyone is replaceable" in the world of "Identicals," the new British sci-fi thriller about a future where an evil corporation can replace anyone with human duplicates.

Known internationally as "Brand New-U," the film stars English actor Lachlan Nieboer (Downton Abbey, Charlie Countryman) as a man looking to upgrade his own existence. When visiting a mysterious company in London, he's offered a chance to make a brand new start and become a "Brand New-U." Little does he know that to obtain a complete reboot of his life, he must kill multiple clones of himself before reuniting with the woman he loves, played by Irish actress Nora-Jane Noone (Brooklyn, The Descent).

Co-starring Tony Way (Edge of Tomorrow, Game of Thrones), "Identicals" is written and directed by Simon Pummell, who previously helmed the 2003 collage-filled documentary "Bodysong," which is noted for featuring the first-ever film score by Radiohead's Jonny Greenwood.

"Identicals" makes its U.S. debut next month, hitting theaters and iTunes/VOD on March 25th. Watch the trailer, above.

synopsis:
The organization Brand New-U identifies networks of Identicals -- people who walk like you, talk like you, but are walking through different, better lives -- and helps their customers make a life upgrade: eliminating the better-life donor, and relocating their client to that brand new life. Slater seems to have the perfect life, the perfect job and the perfect girlfriend. But when Slater’s girlfriend is abducted by Brand New-U, and a corpse left in her place, he is forced to become an Identical. As he moves through a series of parallel lives, he becomes more and more obsessed with finding his girlfriend, but what he must find in the end is himself.
