Deadpool — Super Bowl Trailer

It may have taken 10 years to get made, but it now looks like it was well worth the wait. "Deadpool" is gearing up for its Friday launch and a new Super Bowl trailer has just arrived, which is once again introduced by Ryan Reynolds dressed up as the infamous Merc with a Mouth.

Already earning mostly positive reviews, the R-rated superhero action flick tells the origin story of a cancer-stricken mercenary named Wade Wilson who undergoes a radical experiment that mutates him into a fast-healing masked antihero, known as "Deadpool." Joining him on the adventure are fellow X-Men heroes "Colossus" (voiced by Stefan Kapicic), and the new mutant chick "Negasonic Teenage Warhead" (played by newcomer Brianna Hildebrand).

"Deadpool," is directed by visual-effects veteran Tim Miller, and will break hearts as well as skulls this Valentine's Day Weekend.

Based upon Marvel Comics most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.
