The first trailer for the upcoming "Cabin Fever" reboot has been released, and it continues to prove that college-age kids have no clue on how to survive a deadly bacterial outbreak. It's every man or woman for themselves.

Executive produced by Eli Roth and based on Roth's 2004 cult horror movie, the updated film appears to be following the exact same premise: five college friends rent a cabin in the woods, only to fall victim to a fast-spreading, flesh-eating virus.

Starring Gage Golightly (Teen Wolf), Matthew Daddario (Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments), Dustin Ingram (Paranormal Activity 3), Nadine Crocker, Samuel Davis, and Louise Linton, the remake is directed by production designer-turned-genre helmer Travis Zariwny (Scavengers).

"Cabin Fever" hits theaters and iTunes/VOD on February 12th.

synopsis:
Executive producer Eli Roth presents this reboot of his instant classic gorefest, which features all new characters and all new kills. The story is familiar: fresh out of college, a group of five friends retreat to a remote cabin in the woods for one last week of partying -- only to become snacks for a gruesome, flesh-eating virus. What’s surprising are the ingenious new deaths, which offer a fresh spin on a horror-comedy milestone.
