Sketch comedy duo Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele, of "Key & Peele" fame, are jumping from the small screen to the big screen with their first feature effort "Keanu." And the first uncensored peek at the upcoming comedy has been released online.
Written by Peele and "Key and Peele" writer Alex Rubens, the film follows two nerdy, "John Ritter-sounding" cousins, Clarence (Key) and Rell (Peele), as they infiltrate a hardcore street gang in a ridiculous attempt to retrieve their stolen kitty cat. Now pretending to be a couple of "New Jack City" gangsters, their harebrained scheme could very well get them killed or arrested as they further sink into the gang's criminal lifestyle.
In addition to Key and Peele, the cast also includes Straight Outta Compton's Jason Mitchell, comedienne Tiffany Haddish, rapper/actor Method Man, Nia Long, and Will Forte.
Directed by "Key and Peele" helmer Peter Atencio, "Keanu" will be arriving in theaters on April 29th.

Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele, a.k.a. the hugely popular comedy duo Key & Peele, star as Clarence and Rell, two cousins who live in the city but are far from streetwise. When Rell's beloved kitten, Keanu, is catnapped, the hopelessly straight-laced pair must impersonate ruthless killers in order to infiltrate a street gang and retrieve the purloined feline. But the incredibly adorable kitten becomes so coveted that the fight over his custody creates a gang war, forcing our two unwitting heroes to take the law into their own hands.
