"Come to our ranch. There's food. Drugs. And Charlie." And so begins the trailer for "Manson's Lost Girls," Lifetime's new original movie based on the "heinous crimes of The Manson Family."

Starring MacKenzie Mauzy (Into the Woods), Eden Brolin (I Dream Too Much), Greer Grammer (TV's Awkward.), Christian Madsen (Divergent), and Jeff Ward as the notorious cult leader Charles Manson, the cable movie tells the story of Linda Kasabian (played by Mauzy), a 20-year-old runaway who in the summer of 1969 found herself joining a strange hippie commune in the California desert, which, of course, turned out to be the Manson Family. Kasabian, who would later become a key witness for the prosecution, participated in the cult's infamous 1969 killing spree, which resulted in the brutal murder of model-actress Sharon Tate and supermarket executive Leno LaBianca and his wife, Rosemary.

Directed by TV helmer Leslie Libman (NCIS, The Vampire Diaries) and written by Matthew Tabak (Plain Truth) and Stephen Kronish (The Secret Life of Marilyn Monroe), "Manson's Lost Girls" is due to premiere on Saturday, February 6th.

synopsis:
"Manson's Lost Girls" follows Linda as she first arrives at the seemingly idyllic Spahn Ranch hippie commune where she is embraced with open arms. Seduced by the group's free-love lifestyle, Linda revels in the sisterhood and acceptance. Taken with Manson, he soon draws her into criminal activities, including late-night "creepy crawls" to steal from lavish homes. Linda reluctantly becomes an accomplice in Manson's "Helter Skelter," a drug-fueled murder spree that included the brutal death of actress Sharon Tate. She ultimately breaks away and turns herself in as a witness for the prosecution and helps to convict Manson.
