Entertainment Tonight recently visited the set of the highly anticipated movie "Star Trek Beyond," revealing some behind-the-scenes footage in this newly-released clip, which includes a couple of quick interviews with Chris Pine (Captain Kirk), Karl Urban (Bones), John Cho (Sulu), and Anton Yelchin (Chekov).

Though the preview doesn't reveal any real secrets about the plot or the film's new main villain (played by Idris Elba), it does offer a nice peek at the latest hi-tech bridge of the Enterprise, which, in one certain section, is adorned with a picture of a young family member of one of the crew members. Who could that be? Watch the above clip to find out.

Though J.J. Abrams is still serving as an executive producer on the third film in the rebooted franchise, he has handed the directing reins over to "Fast and Furious" helmer Justin Lin, who is working from a script co-written by resident "Star Trek" aficionado Simon Pegg (who also plays Scotty) and TV writer Doug Jung (Banshee).

"Star Trek Beyond" will be arriving in theaters this summer, July 22nd.

The third installment in the reboot series that will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Star Trek franchise.
