Check out this cheesetastic trailer for "Zombie Fight Club," a bad-taste Taiwanese horror flick that takes the zombie genre to another level of insanity and depravity.
Directed by Taiwanese horror filmmaker Joe Chien and the follow-up to his equally gory thriller "Zombie 108," the film is set in a post-apocalyptic world where flesh-eating zombies rule the earth. With society completely in the dumps, Asian gang bosses keep themselves entertained by forcing human slaves to fight against each other in a gladiatorial pit that's overflowing with zombies. Oh, the humanity!
"Zombie Fight Club," which stars Jessica C (Double Trouble), Andy On (True Legend), Terence Yin (Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life), Michael Wong (Transformers: Age of Extinction), Jack Kao (Flying Swords of Dragon Gate) and Taiwanese rapper MC HotDog, was picked up by U.S. distributor Shout! Factory and will be released on Blu-Ray and DVD on February 2nd.
synopsis:
In a corner of the city, in a building riddled with crime... there is an outbreak of zombies. When one young woman (Jessica C) witnesses her boyfriend falling victim to the zombie horde, she must team up with a police officer (Andy On) in order to stay alive and escape the building. But the once warm-hearted chemistry teacher, Wu Ming, is now the zombie leader following the chaos, which has transformed him into a cruel, vicious and formidable opponent.
Ratcheting up the terror, an evil organization has begun pitting humans against zombies in a malicious killing game. The good side of humanity has seemingly all but vanished and a world of uncertainty awaits...
