The marketing team behind the upcoming action movie "Deadpool" has cranked out yet another 30-second TV commercial, which features a bit of new footage that shows the titular red-suited anti-superhero getting into the football spirit.
Starring Canadian-born Ryan Reynolds, the Marvel Comics-based film tells the story of Wade Wilson, a Canadian motor-mouthed mercenary who undergoes a radical new experiment to cure him of cancer. Now imbued with super-powered abilities, though physically mutilated during the process, Wade decides to become a costumed superhero when his pregnant girlfriend (Morena Baccarin) is taken hostage by the very people who had turned him into ... well, the man he is today, "Deadpool."
Directed by VFX artist-turned-first-timer helmer Tim Miller from a script by "Zombieland" scribes Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, "Deadpool" arrives in theaters February 12th.
