The new international trailer for director Michael Bay's fact-based military thriller "13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi" is offering a peek at the extraordinary heroism of six military security officers who, in 2012, had voluntarily risked their lives to defend a U.S. diplomatic compound in Libya during a deadly 13-hour confrontation with Islamic militants.

"Iron Man 3" actor James Badge Dale and a beefed up John Krasinski lead the ensemble cast of actors who are portraying the real-life soldiers in the upcoming film, which is based on journalist Mitchell Zuckoff's investigative book "13 Hours."

Chuck Hogan, the author of the Bostonian crime story "The Town" and co-author of Guillermo del Toro's vampire book series "The Strain," penned the film's adapted screenplay. While, rounding out the cast is Pablo Schreiber, Toby Stephens, Dominic Fumusa, David Denman, and Breaking Bad's David Costabile.

"13 Hours" is opening this Friday, January 15th.
