A new 60-second trailer has been released for HBO's new series "Vinyl," in which Oscar-winning director Martin Scorsese, rock icon Mick Jagger and "Boardwalk Empire" creator Terence Winter are the creative forces behind this upcoming rock-n-roll drama that is taking an insider's look at the record music industry in the late 1970s.

The series stars Emmy-winner Bobby Cannavale (Boardwalk Empire) as Richie Finestra, a drug-abusing New York record executive who is in dire need of finding a new rock act, in order to save his floundering record company. So when one of his assistants (played by Juno Temple) discovers a promising punk rocker (played by Mick's son, James Jagger) who shows signs of possibly having the talent to change the future of music itself, a desperate Richie comes out and says straight to his face, "I need you to reinvent this business."

Picked up for eight episodes, the series also stars Olivia Wilde, Ray Romano, Ato Essandoh, Paul Ben-Victor, and Max Casella.

Scorsese, who had been developing this rock-n-roll project with Mick Jagger for several years and was initially intended as a possible feature film, is directing the pilot episode, which is set to premiere on Sunday, February 14th on HBO.
