FX has released a full-length trailer for "Baskets," the Zach Galifianakis-starring series about a pathetic professional clown who, after failing to make it in France, takes up a job working at a Bakersfield rodeo.

Executive produced and co-created by Galifianakis, comedian Louis C.K. and "Portlandia" co-creator Jonathan Krisel, the offbeat comedy also stars stand-up comedienne Martha Kelly, singer/musician Sabina Sciubba (of the indie band "Brazilian Girls") and "Portlandia" actor and Oregon native Ernest Adams.

Directed by Krisel and written by Galifianakis and Louis C.K., "Baskets" will start airing later this month on Thursday, January 21st on the FX network.

Chip Baskets (Zach Galifianakis) wants to follow his dream of being a French clown -- however, reality keeps interfering. Saddled with financial difficulties and facing an impenetrable language barrier, he moves back home to Bakersfield with high hopes. There he is forced to confront his past while working as a rodeo clown and competing with his siblings for his mother's approval and affection.
